What location is the door chime

The sound of the my door chime / buzzer is very soft, just noticable.

I've been hanging upside down for a while under the dash but I can't find it.

Has anyone an idea where it is located on a 1985 Colony Park.

Beter solve it, I left the lights on yesterday for 2 hours...

Add a real buzzer for a headlight warning. One that'll also buzz if you happen to stay in the car or in a really noisy location.

12v switched (ie:radio power)------|< diode----- - 12v buzzer+ ------ 12v when lights on (ie: radio illumination).

It's behind the radio I think, mounted to the metal brace of the dash.

Yeah, it's slightly to the left of the radio under the dash. Mine was a little white box with a plug shaped like a trapezoid.

White box, mounted with one screw on the edge of the dash.

Changed it changed it with an other one I had in the spare arts which came with the car!

Chime is now good! But no chime with the light on, some measurements to do!

Headlight chime will only chime if you open the door. The add on buzzer above will howl at you the moment you shut off the car.

Depending on where you took the power from, yes.
