What gauge should I run for this....? It is a Sun Super tach (if that matters) I just need to know what type of wire to go pick up. Im going to take apart the tach now and make sure all is alright on the iside, I would like to run the wire for it today while I wait for that damn ATC sensor.

Not sure about the gauge wire to be used... but I was told you connect the signal wire from the tach to the green wire on the coil plug.'97 Cadillac Catera - 3.0 DOHC V6, 75k

I think your tach should have 4 wires like the newer ones do, unless they combined two of them that both need 12vsigpic

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

Alright... thanks. It is a 4 wire setup... one unlabeled black wire then 3 others labeled *Ground *signal *ignition Switch.
Ill get some color coded 16g as the other three are just blue... Im replacing it all because it is old shit, and there is only about 3 inches left on the tach.
Thanks again guys."Shakedown"- 1991 Grand Marquis GS Dual exhaust, Magnaflow xl turbos, Rear anti sway bar, Outlaw 1 wheels, 43k miles

Gauge isn't real important, 16 should be fine. It carries no appreciable amount of current.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

TOTCG once just electrical-taped a 3-3/8" tach pod onto his steering column. After I bought the car, I moved it down where he'd had the AutoGage 3-gauge pod, which in turn is where the factory ashtray used to be.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!
