ive been thinking of getting led strips off ebay and splicing them in the speaker wire to get them to flah to the music. ive never worked with led lights so if theres anything i should kno it would help alot thanks!

I used a little audio electro-module thing i got off eBay that just has a little primitive mic that pics up low sounds waves. It meters off a ground connection for whatever lights you hook it up to.

I think it was called a 'sound response module' or something similar... I bought it like 6 years ago so that listing is long gone lol

easy stuff to do. to be honest with its just time consuming is all, hardest part is dealing with all the wires, but once they are ran and soldered in its a piece of cake.

will do mang, to say the least the kit in itself is easy to duplicate, and it is probably one of the few things i havnt seen in a car yet lol

Also, that center console is some serious badassness. Is there a thread somewhere about the creation of that?

yup it is a kit, but one that is recreateable long as i have all the peices to make it

Do you think you could modify that one to put out 12 volts at the LED outputs instead of the 3 or 4 those LEDs need? If that unit would handle some more amperage you could just run LED strips or whatever off that and make that huge VU display!!
