    Cigarette lighter wiring

I am redoing the crap wiring job I did on my aftermarket gauges when I was 17, and I need to know a couple wires if someone has a service manual handy. The cigarette lighter has a Brown, a Yellow, and a Black going to it. I am pretty sure the black is the ground and the yellow is the power but I am not sure. If someone could verify this that would be awesome.

Hot goes to the post in the center, ground is the spade terminal that connects to the outside. Aftermarket lighter plugs often have two spade terminals to make them easy to hook up.
