It just makes absolutely no sense. What's left to send power to the lights? Magic?

Yeah. Well obviously something shorted to power somewhere. I just can't look for the problem anymore. I may possibly run an entire new black and light blue triggered courtesy light harness looping it into the door switches, headlight switch as well as the illuminated entry timer and of course the courtesy lights. THAT should solve any problems. But I just cant think about it anymore.

:woot: Picked up a new door switch this morning (nice quality too!) and ran an entire new harness starting from the p.side door switch---->p.side courtesy light---->illuminated entry timer---->d.side courtesy light---->headlight switch---->d.side door switch and finally the harness leading to the roof lighting. All is well now. No effin clue where the problem was but it is gone now

Good call on replacing everything. Glad it works proper now.

probably some insulation break between a hot line and whatever wire is connected to that light. Bet it's in the middle of a bundle too.

Yeah. My dad wanted to take apart every single connector dealing with the courtesy lighting to isolate the problem. Okay so then say we found the strand...it is in between a shit load of other factory wiring. My way worked and was direct. Problem solved without fucking up numerous connectors or even more wiring.

Possibly....I was out from 10am to 2pm lol. Takes time routing wire testing things as you go so on and so forth. I got a bad ass sunburn too. Clear outline of the tank top I was wearing. ohhh i got RED.
