Ah, my bad, I see that, but the relay still won't work anything when energized, it'll go to 87, when powered, and 87a is where your ground feed for your other relays are. So it won't work. At least in my understanding of ISO relays.

thanks. Will look into it. But my car already has illuminated entry where if one would go and lift a locked exterior door handle the interior lights would remain on for 25 seconds then turn off. I just need to find out how to tie it all into my stuff. I am taking things one thing at a time at this stage in the game. I don't want to fry stuff.~David~

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

Okay. My car locks the doors when the car is turned on. If i just wired up the horn and pk lights relay without that master then every time i turned on the car my horn and lights would come on because the brain tells the door locks to lock. So to solve that problem, because that would be a very stupid problem to have, I made the horn and pk lights relay purposely inactive with ignition so they wont trigger my horn and lights while turning the car on. And I only need to horn and pk lights relays active when the car is off.~David~

But frying stuff is fun, and it teaches you how not to do something. Here's another thought, when the doors unlock, with the ignition switched off, you could tie your interior lamp delay in with teh unlock wire. Which would give a pulse of voltage which would trigger the relay that originally came in your car. And then it's own programing would have your delay.

Yes I understand. If you have the EVTM for the '86 still, the wiring diagram for the iluminated entry should tell you which wire you would have to tap into. basically, you'd want the wire that completes the circuit when you pull up on your handle, whether that be a ground side, or a positive side. The EVTM, though being a year off, should still have the wiring set up the same way.
Oh btw, um, could you scan the part that tells you how to program the key fobs and send me it via pm?, I seemed to have misplaced my instructions, and my spare key fob isn't working for some reason..

hell i don't remember where those instructions are. If we talked about them before just let me know where we were talking about it to help jumpstart my brain and i will be happy to help you if i find it.~David~

I take it those scans were very old lol. Do you still have the EVTM though? That would be perfect for your light dilemma. If you don't have it, I'll dig out mine, and find which wire you'll want to tap into.

John I meant I have no idea about the Key fob instructions.
I have my EVTM.
I apologize to anyone reading this and saying to themselves "boy what a dumbass, how does he not understand" I really have no idea what John is talking about. lol~David~
