for me when I wiggled the wiper switch (the rotating part) back and forth, it would misbehave. Also, I used to get the clickety clickety when I would engage the intermittent settings, but the clickety clickety went away when I replaced the switch. So, I would try a junkyard switch before shelling out any coin. I believe any out of early 90s panthers will work.

Yeah, we're getting something a little different. I can't be certain of what part to replace right now, so I'll try to find a junkyard switch, but I'll have to outsource.
