Well, in rockauto there's a wiper switch, and a turn signal switch for my car, and the ticking sound doesn't seem to be coming from the steering column, but the dash.

The 'brain' might be in the dash, but the switch is whats going bad.

Just to clear things up. There is a wiper switch, and a turn signal switch for my car. I have someone telling me that it's the wiper switch, and another telling me that it's in the turn signal switch... What's going on then? I'm just paranoid, cause I donn't have the money to replace the wrong one.

Does anybody know if the wiper switch would work for me out of a '91 TC? Also, would the fan shroud, and overflow work out of that like the '90?

It may not be the switch or the module. My car does the same thing, where only high speed works continuously, and it doesn't always park the wipers when I shut them off. I've got completely new wiper switch, tried a second module, and the problem was exactly the same. The only time I got the issue to change at all was when I rebuild my wiper motor. It went away for a few weeks until it eventually came back. So that tells me the contacts are done inside the motor, and only when you apply the extra amperage of high speed is it able to reliably keep flowing current.

Woah, didn't even think of the contacts in the wiper motor going bad. I didn't want to think that it was the switch in the turn signal, because I couldn't get it to do anything different if I wiggled it around.

Yes the fan shroud and over flow out of a 90 TC is the desirable one. While you are at it grab the air box and intake tube as well so you can looks something like this:

                      My engine bay

It has the 90 TC shroud and coolant tank.

No the TC is a 91. I was curious if that was the same as the 90, cause the CV mostly work that way. On a side note, the 91 TC is the only panther in my city that would have any interchangeable parts with my CV.

i totally misread what your post said. 91 has a totally different engine, so not sure how much really interchanges.

Lame. I had my hopes up for a second.

That looks nice though. I'm going to have to run down a 90 somewhere. I'll check with have24wheel to see if there's anything down south.

for me when I wiggled the wiper switch (the rotating part) back and forth, it would misbehave. Also, I used to get the clickety clickety when I would engage the intermittent settings, but the clickety clickety went away when I replaced the switch. So, I would try a junkyard switch before shelling out any coin. I believe any out of early 90s panthers will work.

I know that the air box will still bolt right onto your inner fender though. Not sure about the tube... But you didnt even ask about that...so I will just shut up
