The car door buzzer in my Lincoln has decided to stay on when I start my car. What all is connected to this buzzer besides the headlights and door switch. As soon as I turn the car off it stops. I don't want to remove it.

Your fasten seatbelt light. It also has a chime if the plug is still connected to the seat belt buckle under your seat. Should come off when the light goes off.Comment

The ignition switch has a thing for the key being inserted. Mine went on and on when the door switch had failed, but it only did it with the lights on. can't say i recall the seatbelt setting it off but that may have been unhooked. I tossed the dinger years ago, it went off for 45 minutes while I was driving somewhere. It had me so annoyed that I literally chucked it out the window somewhere in Philly when I finally got it out.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
