    Car buzzer

The car door buzzer in my Lincoln has decided to stay on when I start my car. What all is connected to this buzzer besides the headlights and door switch. As soon as I turn the car off it stops. I don't want to remove it.

Your fasten seatbelt light. It also has a chime if the plug is still connected to the seat belt buckle under your seat. Should come off when the light goes off.

I'll check that. It just went off and I've haven't herd it today so maybe it was just a short.

The ignition switch has a thing for the key being inserted. Mine went on and on when the door switch had failed, but it only did it with the lights on. can't say i recall the seatbelt setting it off but that may have been unhooked. I tossed the dinger years ago, it went off for 45 minutes while I was driving somewhere. It had me so annoyed that I literally chucked it out the window somewhere in Philly when I finally got it out.
