windshield wiper switch
I have a question about changing from a off-low-high switch, to a off-intermediate-high switch. My car is a 83, the switch I want to use is off a 86. The plugs are diff between the two, n I need to know which wires need to be in which location when I switch plugs. If its even possible.

I'm assuming you mean off-delay-low-high for the second type of switch .... if so, you will likely need the little black box from under the dash that actually controls the delay functions. I don't know all the details, but I know the underdash plugs were the same for '79 and '87 delay type circuits.
There may or may not be any difference at the wiper motor itself ....2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Yep. I got it to work. Just unplug, the old switch, plug in the box to the plug on the car, n the box plugs into the momentary switch. If I would have looked closer last night I prob would have figured it out. But I was tired and it was gettin dark. Thanks again for the help.sigpicComment
