The cornering lamps, the white lights that illuminate out the bottom front side of the car when that side turn signal is actuated have started flashing along with the turn signal. I have replaced the turn signal relay in the fuse box (the big, round one). They used to stay illuminated steadily until the flasher went off, but now they flash with the flasher. Does anyone know what may cause this, I cannot find a relay or fuse for those lamps in particular. It's an 88 Lincoln Town Car. Thanks!

I think you will find the cornering lamp relays uder the dash above the drivers feet, they look like two silver turn signal flasher cans.

What he said. The relays are probably tired, or your alternator is. Low voltage will make them do this, so you might want to check that out.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I agree with Thain, Vicky used to do that when I had the old alternator in there with a load on the charging system (rear defroster, blower motor, radio). Doesn't do it anymore.Comment
