What is the difference between the big and little blade fuses? Other than the size, that is. The newer cars have 2 or 3 sizes, the mini, standard, and the maxie.

Possibly the max current they can handle. Maxi fuses at least are rated up to 100 amps or so. No way you'd ever get 100 amps through the blade style our cars use. The dinky ones I think might just be an effort to pack more circuits into a fusebox without having to make it way bigger.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
