    side lights

    Ok all i know its proboly in here somewhere but i cant find it so does anybody know the procedure for changing out the bulbs in the marker lights in between the front and rear doors. thanks

    1976 Mercury Grand Marquis 460 AC Cruise and leather. Red on Red On Red and sooo much friggen red
    RIP 1987 g/m 5.0 w o/d trans factory l/s rear kind of sandy in color with the landau top.

    The lense should pop out, with a screwdriver or your hands. Use care and caution cause chances are the plastic is brittle and may break.

      the lense consists of a white lense and a chrome square on each end, you have to pop the chrome pieces out with a thin flat screw driver. there will be a phillips screw under each chrome cap, remove the 2 screws and the lense and crome ring behind it comes out. twits the socket and pull it out and a peanut bulb will be looking at you.(i got blue ones in mine that give me a greenish color, looks cool). installation is vise versa of said proccedure.

        I'd throw LEDs and dielectric grease in so as not to fuck with it again.

          i forgot to mention the LEDs, they look pretty good in the marker lights

                My 79 has the landau lights in the sides of the roof.I wish I could find a bulb that shows brighter at night
