    Tach

So I've done a little checking around and some searching on here, but can't seem to find a decent answer.
I miss having a tach in my car, my last one had one.
What do I need to get a tachometer to work in a Panther?? I know most tachs use the distributor, seeing as the 4.6 has a COP ignition, that wont work. What are some recommended, more inexpensive tachs?

    what year?
Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.

        looks like alot of fun..

        * 98+ cars need a tach adapter for tach signal
        * I would recommend an Autometer 9117 tach adapter. FRPP also makes a tach adapter which many have used with great sucess.
        * You will need to wire the tach adapter inline of the factory COP power feed
o it is a red wire with light green stripe.
        * This is best accomplished at the EEC power diode, which is located on the LH fender well relay block, seen here: http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...y/media/305132
