Question, the switch is working backwards I think lol. When I push the switch down, the seat goes up. forward and reverse are correct though. What do I do to fix this?

I have another idea, but I need to know, can the seat track be installed backwards?

Just rewire the existing switch harness. It's a lot easier than it sounds .... I discovered after installing a d/s switch to replace a broken p/s one that there's a little red tab on the plug that you can push in and pull the wires out. I then did a little trial-and-error with the six wires till everything was doing what I wanted and reinstalled the plastic part of the plug.

No need to worry about the seat bracket itself being backwards; the d/s and p/s switches mirror each other fore/aft.

well I mean if the track was backwards, and I flip the switch upside down, the switch and seat track will work correctly (up with up, down with down).
And if the reversing the track isn't possible. Which wires are which on the switch? try saying that 5 times fast.

Reversing the track seems pretty unlikely because of the floor contour ... even if it's physically possible to bolt it down the wrong way, I'm sure you would have caught the mistake if you've ever worked on another power seat before.

When I put the d/s switch on my p/s seat slider, up was up and down was down, but front was back and vice versa. I really couldn't tell you for sure which wires to swap because I just pulled 'em all out and started playing around until it worked correctly.

Ok thanks. I'll work on it if it bothers me too much.
