Well, I have most of the parts together... I was thinking about using Scott's proximity to spark the swap this weekend, but in looking through the 91 evtm to try and ID the wires at the "loose ends" of the ECM harness, I only ID'ed maybe 1/3 of the wires and got a huge headache.
I need to lay out the harness under the hood of the 85 and see what's what and where, and find wire colors that match.
I think this '91 harness is gonna be a lot different than the 87-89 type that FatNasty used, he only had to splice a couple wires for his. So if it looks like I can't make the 91 harness work easily I may go with the older harness.
I have most of the parts ready except for the o2 sensors, and I need to rig up some "T" for the ECT sensor in my heater hose nipple rig, since i wont be using the stock pipe bolted to the manifold.
Ive got injector seal kits (any way to bench test injectors?) all the other seals and gaskets, PCV parts, longer bolts for the phenolic spacer...
now i just need to figure out how to make it work!
Any progress on that write-up FatNasty??
