I'm still hoping to get my AC back online, even if it's in January. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and nothing will get it going, but at least it's more comfortable to use the car now.

Maybe you need to replace the pressure switch as well, it sounds you are experiencing the same problem that Donald had.

No such luck bud, the paper clip trick did nothing in my case. With my car, it likes to fry the A/C WOT relay, and at this point I don't know which one I need or why it's happening. I've bought like four Standard Automotive RY-68 (5 pin - 3 small/two large) which is listed for the car but if you turn the AC of once with it plugged in, it's not coming back on. I've used some Ford 4 pin (3 small/one large) relays which would get the compressor back on if you turned it off but after the 30 mins the relay would kick in if even you feathered the pedal, and then it'd fry up as well. I even swapped the old working TPS on with no change. I heard the clutch coil could perhaps cause this but the whole system is 4 years old. Other thing I was thinking about was electric switch behind the temp controls. Someone mentioned the blower resister (which I don't think is possible) or the the computer but Ford computers rarely go so there you have it.

Sounds like it's going to ground somewhere. Bypassing the cut out.

the aftermarket ac low pressure switches are garbage.......freezes your face off till the evaporator freezes up......and less adjustment on the switch and the clutch cycles every couple seconds which is no good.......ordering a switch from team ford and going to evacuate it nd recharge it with the proper charge once my r134a machine arrives......my old gauges leak like crazy
