      Because nobody has "newer" vics! I remembered a mention of the 6g alt on corral...So I did what many fear -did a search (gotta love getting paid 20+ bucks an hour to sit around on the computer)

      I need to do the upgrade also... eventually. Just need to get the $$

        So that seems worth it....I wonder if I could do that on an Older car like my Crapi? I have the old bosh alternater and it is weak very weak.

            Hm, how much newer? Only type alternators I've seen on newer vics had the bolts straight through the top, not the two ear mount type. Not that I'm all that familier with newer vics of course.
