      Don't give up that easy!

In order to see if your fuel pump is working, remove the fuel line from the carb, and let it drain into a cup. Then, disable the coil wire, and have a friend crank the motor over. If gas starts rushing out, then your fuel pump is working

      Try that.

            two bolts, and the lines.

Shouldn't be too hard. It didn't cost too much, did it?

Then don't give up so easy, and want to junk it...

We're trying hard to help diagnose the problem... Luckily, it's not electrical...

That's odd. What's in the way? I can't think of much else you should be finding there, just forward of the oil filter ........

Yeah, there are some areas just not designed for hands to fit into. Potentially dumb question ... you are using a socket wrench with a 6-8" extension? Even pulling starters turned into a relatively quick job once I realized I had enough extensions to position the ratchet where I could actually turn it.
