Does anyone know of a source of those headlight retainer rings that will actually fit? I broke one tonight changing a low beam bulb. Auto parts stores around me don't carry them and don't know what I'm talking about. Their systems and the online parts places say the Mark VI has rectangular headlights which it obviously does not. I've seen a few that say universal "I doubt it" most just say fits all GM products which doesn't do me any good. Or if someone has one laying around they would sell me for cheap that would be great.

they probably are a fairly universal part. For decades there were only 4 headlight sizes that everyone used. You need the small round one. Unless the screws are in different spots I don't see why the retainer ring wouldn't fit.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I suppose I can just have the parts store order in one of the Universal ones and compare it. Worst comes to worst they send it back and I keep looking. I'm done driving it until nice weather so there's no real hurry but I do like to have things working in case I need it in an emergency.
