Hey guys I need some help as I am not too familiar with CFI. I have a 83 Grand Marquis 5.0 CFI the car will run fine as long as I keep my foot on the gas as soon as I remove it the car will die. Any help is appreciated.

How about hot/cold? Does it make a difference?
Is the idle adjustable on these CFI cars?
Maybe you could just bump up the dash pot just a tad, its the round thing with a spring on the end right in front of your throttle linkage.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

yes you can adjust the idle with that gizmo you will find under the throttle lever.
You have to loosen one bolt to free the "slide" the device is mounted on, and turn another to adjust the idle just like on a carb.Pete ::::>>> resident LED addict and CFI defector LED bulb replacements
