Can you bumped up the cfi fuel pressure

this is not a daily driver its a dirt track car, and if you can where do you do it at

I've heard of people doing it on Chevy TBI motors, usually when they plop and 502 where a 454 had been and want to keep the TBI. They raise the fuel pressure to keep the air/fuel right at higher rpms, but at lower rpms it's rich. The solution GM used on it's factory 502 trucks is to use some kind of vacuum sensor that under certain conditions lets the fuel pump to it's fullest, but at higher vacuum situations it would restrict flow. The ECM had to be programmed and tuned to get it right.

But since you are going to be doing mostly higher rpm stuff, it might not be manditory.

You get the most power out of an engine when it's at the proper air/fuel ratio as you probably know. If the CFI is already at the proper air/fuel ratio, riching is theoretically not going to increase the power. Just something to consider.

yes - i heard of mustang guys with CFI doing it.
If you have the stock FPR in it, you can tear out the tin cover at the very top of the FPR to reveal an allen head that you can turn. I dont know which way goes where so you'd want to verify your changes with a pressure tester.
Ive seen aftermarket ones (like Nates old one) that have a little plastic dial already you can twist.

The stock FPR is adjustable, Pop the little plastic cover off the FPR and the adjustment is under there.
