an AOD of any sort is not a manual transmission. I know someone who fitted a T5 to a MarkVII and gets north of 30 mpg with it now. Thats what I want. I don't want a non-lockup AOD thats going to make a lot of heat and waste fuel.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

SN95 T5 is way cheaper and way more available than a 6 speed. More suitable for a stock HO with a 3.27 rear too. No, I'm not changing the gearing or messing with the engine. It runs too damn good as it is, and its got way too many miles on it for me to want to tinker with it.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
