Before the car will pass inspection I need rotors and pads in front. It's been awhile since I've had to buy this stuff. I know rotors come as one. When I do the pads, does one box cover both sides? And am I going to have to buy shims? If so does one kit do both sides, or just one? Secondly, I figure since the rotors are coming off, might as well replace the wheel bearings. Rockauto lists an inner and an outer. Am I correct in assuming that I have to get one of each for each side? Thanks!

As far as I know the pads are sold as axle sets. So you should be getting enough pads that will replace the entire front set or rear set.2001 Grand Marquis LS

no need to buy bearings unless bad, buy two brake rotors, a set of brake pads (both axles, 4 pads) and two grease seals....also get a tub of wheel bearing grease and a can of 2+2 carb cleaner (fuck brake clean it sucks) packthe bearings, put some grease in the new rotors (a scoop from your fingers is good, wanna cover the new races with grease, and cover the area good, making sure no dirt or grit is present...........easy job, make sure to workin the shade, drink lots of soda
