Wide Drag radials all around?

I've heard you can do it for road racing... What is the deal?

If so, 700 bucks for four tires wouldnt be bad, if I could do over 100 into the turns :evil:

Drag radials are not good for turning. They have very soft sidewalls designed to absorb the impact of power. Running R compound slicks all around is not a problem at all. They are availble in all kinds of sizes from 6" gokart wheels to 18" racing wheels and maybe even higher.

Yeah, now that I look at that, I found some racing tires that would fit the bill I need.

Kuhmo MX, V710, V700, Falken Azenis...those are the inexpensive ones. Just look around tire rack for the MAX performance summer tires. Goodyear F1 GS-D or something has the best reviews..

My Drag radials have a softer sidewall than my Kumhos. They are stiffer than a wrinkle wall tire but too soft for good handeling. Plus the tread is so soft youd wear them out alot faster than a real road race slick.

just remeber drag tires give almost no traction in the rain
