    When should I use an oversized lower ball joint?

    I'm planning to use my stock lower control arms with ES poly bushings when I do my big brake swap. The ball joints currently in there are not original as evidenced by the zerk fittings. Should I use a standard size '98-'02 ball joint or should I get the oversized version that is available?

    Also, where can I find the upper control arm bump stop for '92-'95 arms? The ones on my junkyard pieces were toast.

    Only use an oversized if the hole is showing gaps around the current one.

    They make universal bump stops. Not sure they will fit right though.

      I would say never. If the stock size ball joint doesn't fit properly, you fix that with a new control arm.

        Overseized balljoints are a thing? If the arm hole is wallerd out, just get a new one. It's not like there aint a junkyard full of them in every country bumpkin locale across the states
