    goin rate for turbine wheels

Forgive me if this in not the right venue. This fall I intend to get some snow tires and will need to get at least one new factory turbine wheel for my 91 CP but I can't seem to find any info on sources or prices. would like to have an idea of how much $ to set aside for the purchase.

Unless their mint I wouldn't pay more than $25 a pop.

Where are you located? I know someone with a set of nice southern (so no corrosion from salt spray on winter roads) turbines who will gladly take $100 for the set of 4, seeing how he's going big brakes and thus has to run 16s whether he wants to or not. Depends on your location tho...

Seeing as the OP only needs one I'll happily pay 125 for the whole set if they're corrosion & rash free with great paint. OP could have one of my turbine wheels..

Well not all is lost. I "should" have an east-west coast-to-coast run in a few months, you are sorta along the way. It wouldn't be a big deal to transport them things for you, just meet up at a truck stop or something in your state where you can collect them...

I've got a pretty mint set of turbines with pristine ford center caps. If ghosty-mosty is heading east I could send them along for the right price. Hell, shipping would probably cost over 100 bucks. Make me an offer I can't refuse. Where you at ghosty? I'm east LA/north OC.

We'll take this to PMs when the time approaches, right now everything is up in the air - depends on work load, what the GF's vacation plans are, when my friend I get to see once in a blue moon is gonna be back in the country, what another friend is gonna break on his truck this time around and how long it will take to fix it, yada yada yada. In the mean time if you guys are hell-bent on making a deal you should probably plan to do so without me, as SoCal is typically way out of my way, and I tend to avoid it like the plague if at all possible, lol.

Nah, at this point I'm only going to worry about a set if they fall in my path. So we'll worry about it when the time comes.
