I have them in my car on all four corners (The gas-a-justs) as well as the heavy duty springs. It's a stiff ride for sure. Originally I had economy monroes in the back and the KYB's just in the front and that was a death wish. The rear end was wayyy too soft and would wander. Changing to KYBs all around has been good.
The only things that you may not like is that you know as well as I do that these NY roads suck ass... with the stiff shocks you feel every one of the potholes.
I run Gas-A-justs front and back on the '92 MGM with stock springs. I like them. You do feel more of the bumps, cracks and holes with them, though.
Sly didn't like them on the back of his '88 with cargo coils, but I have the same combo on my '90 and feel it's ok.
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.
Slack......LOL.......driving my Avanti on NY roads........like I am in a cement truck, brutal....in fact when I get back into the Tudor, I think I am in a Rolls I am only putting in fronts as cash is tight....did rears about ten yrs ago, and the back does not bounce more than one after pushing down on the trunk.

Haha! I hear ya! My other car is an '96 Olds Ciera. Sometimes I feel like I'm off roading with these roads!
