I have a set of 2002 or 2003 (I think) 16 inch GM wheels off a police car.
Will they work on my 85 GM colony park.. is the back spacing right?

Yep - the newer ones that don't fit are pretty obviously flat-offset compared to the older 'dished' wheels.

Yep, those will fit, no spacers required. Have a set on my '87.

Just running the 225-60-16's got the new rubber..... should have them on today. ordered caps off ebay. Hub caps of coursse I had to order a new set of lug nuts
. Life goes on.
Still working on the CFI to Carb work too. Just installed a new timing chain. Should have the water pump and intake on today. Had to order bungs for the Lincoln logs. Going to just plug them with O2 sensors for the moment. Still haven't got around to the wiring.Comment

Those in your link are definitely not P71 caps... they are explorer/ranger caps (they have the rounded edges).
The tall p71 caps are more square on the sides. Those will work though, so if you like em, keep em. So the 17 x 7.5 wheels that I see listed in the JY need spacers? I am in the market for wheels and I see a lot of the 17" wheels around here; not too many of the 16" wheels.
