actually it's the parts manufacturers... they have bad listings thanks to Ford. Want proof... look up front wheel bearings for early 80s panthers... should be the same parts as late 80s... but you get the listings for the fox body bearings. Another one is the autolamp relay that plugs into the 5-pin socket. Ford refuses to correct their listings and therefore none of the parts makers will correct theirs. There's supposed to be a wire out the side where it hangs on the clip for ground and it's supposed to be a single input dual output (switch 2 lines at once) instead of a standard normally open/closed relay action.

I remember trying to buy a trans mount for my 86. Listings from 80 to 85 and from 88 to 90 but no 86 87. Its the same part. Been stuck on the bearings calipers and pads for an 85 Vic too. Got the right parts by asking for baby ltd stuff.
