    16 inch wheels

For right now I have the stock lacy turbines on my Lincoln. They look presentable from a distance but I'm thinking of getting something once I need to get new tires. I've been thinking of getting something 16" so I can also do the big brake upgrade. I also heard people say that they handle better than the stock size. What are some good options out there? I'm looking for something off of a Lincoln, so it at least looks somewhat stock.

These are what I was thinking of. Are LSC wheels hard to find/expensive as hell?

got mine for 100 bucks but that was 10 yrs ago.......i had a spare set but someone stole them for scrap

i'll check with my friends that hoard mk7 parts and find out if they have any and how much

they are kinda rare now cause they were only used from 87-89

Thanks! I may have to hold off on getting wheels though until I need new tires and have some leftover money to play around with. That and the brake upgrade could be a good summertime project for me.

If you like the 'other' kind of LSC wheels, the HPP wheels are a match in style and won't need spacers. They just aren't black in the center like the LSC wheels but you can paint them, like the wheel in my avatar.
Also the 16" alloy wheels on the whale Townies look sweet too.

I believe you need the 16" wheels before the brakes, not 100% sure as I had the wheels when I did the first suspension upgrade.

I just found a set of Mercury HPP wheels for cheap and bought them for my own box Town Car.

I'm pretty curious to see what they look like installed because I've never found pics of a car like mine with them, but I have to get a set of tires for them first.

Nice. I still have my hpps in the shed out back. I polished out the center caps last weekend. Plan to destroy the tires this summer then paint the wheels over winter at work!

I'm thinking about painting the center sections a medium or medium-dark gray to make the rim area really pop. Thoughts? My car is white with a blue half top.

I like blue and dark grays together.

Do you have a polished lip version?

The ones I picked up were fully painted Argent silver. I will repaint the lips in argent silver and the centers will be black.
