I found my K code in a 92 Crown Victoria in my local junkyard. It was an early '92 so it had the AOD. A whale rear will NOT fit a box. Also. if you do find the K code, make sure you have the right pinion flange to fit your driveshaft. The later ones got the larger pinion flanges. So you may need to swap yours for the aeros. Which properly would involve disassembling the rear and replacing the crush sleeve. Though while you're in there, replace the bearings as well...Comment
