So what's the deal on my 85 Marquis. I know the bolt pattern is the same, but it's got that huge hub and the wheel won't slide all the way on. I tried one today from my 2004 mustang. I think those would look bad ass on it and can find them relitvly cheap. I was considering torque thrusts also but worry they won't slide over the hub

First of all, it's Bullitt.
Second, This is from the FAQ at the top of this forum. The one with "please read first" in the title.
Wheels
Stock wheels are 5x4.5 bolt spacing. Backspacing is 4.25"
Wheels are interchangable for the most part up to 02, though because of the brakes the centercaps won't fit (depending on the style of cap.)
Explorer and ranger wheels fit, some Jeep and Chrysler wheels to.
1994-2003 Mustang wheels fit 79-91 panthers with 1-1.25" spacers. Modifications to the centercaps to fit with the 1" spacers and stock brakes. With the big brake conversion done, 1" spacers are fine.
2003+ panther wheels and 2005+ Mustang Wheels can be used, however they require a 1.5" spacer/adapter that costs about 150 bucks for a set.
The newer cars use separate rotor/sealed wheel bearing versus the old style intergrated bearing race in the rotor. The is much smaller on the newer style cars, also the backspacing is completely different on the newer cars.Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons

Yeah, I found out the hard way that aftermarket Cobra wheels have a different center bore than our axles. I woulda had to bore out the wheels a little, which would have made them mine. Then I ran into the spacer dilemna. Of course this was long before I found out about GMN. I'm glad I didn't know because I like my second choice better.
