weird, cop car upper arms. I just bet that car originally had the tubular upper arms that can't be serviced, and someone replaced them with the other upper arm that can't be serviced. Groovy

I got them with the car. Since there was no play in the uppers bushings I used them. When the time comes when there no longer of use, Ill swap.

On the plus side, mine took 23 years and at least 200,000 miles to get as wobbly as the one you saw in my video, and that was the worse of the two, so who knows how long yours will last with regular maintenance?

well, if those solid bushing arms are greased every oil change, they ought to last almost forever. Just make sure the grease nipple is wiped off before pumping a dirt/grease mixture into the bushing. They are also adjustable to some extent from what I gather, but I don't know how much they can be tightened.

That reminds me, I never had another go at loosening the caps on my old arm. I was unable to budge either of them on my indoor vise ... my garage vice is cruddier but more solidly mounted. It's a problem being unable to turn against the shaft since the shaft pivots with respect to the "nuts". Very possibly it's easier with the arm installed on a car, provided you can get enough leverage on it without just lifting the car.

Greased at every oil change is no problem.
