Are you talking about replacing the pressure hose w\rubber tranny hose?

The pressure hose is one of those year/model specific things.

    On rockauto.com, it's listed as

    GATES Part # 359930 Pressure Line Assembly; 5/16" Male Inverted Flare x 16mm Swivel O-Ring x 25"
    It looks like this:

You can use 3/8" rubber tranny hose for the return lines though. They barely carry any pressure.

No don't replace the pressure hose with tranny line! Replace it with a new pressure hose, they sell them at the parts store.

I had to cut mine and reuse the end, I guess it was the original then?

mine had clamps on the reservoir and on the metal line from the gearbox. That metal line from the gearbox had the "clamp flare" on it and looked original. Mine's an 88 though.

nope... no pics... and taking a pic of it the way it is won't show it (just the little hose clamp and the crap ton of grease).

just as a side note sometimes it's a bitch getting the pressure line metal end to fit properly under the return line I ran into that problem so I had to get a different return line end I got it from napa

I just had to loosen the return line on my gearbox so that I could thread the new pressure line on. Then tighten them both down. *shrugs* sometimes new parts are a PITA... sometimes not so much.

Remember not to tighten the pressure line too much as it is supose to move.
