I wouldn't pay the price either, those wheels can be had for a lot less at any of my local junkyards when they have them. They are probably what I would go for if I don't use Mustang wheels.

Wheel covers sound annoying as shit. I'm just going to drive around with bare steel wheels (and that funky center thing that the hubcap screws into?) until I get the alloys on.

Y'know I was having the same issue last year before the alloys......turns out it was just that I had a tire breaking a belt.

I havent heard a peep out of the covers I had on the front, but I'm still glad I went with the TC wheels.

Now I need centers......either one more TC center.....or, if I can find them, ford centers.

You can take the cap lock off too, just unbolt the 3 lugs it attaches to then re bolt. it will look better.

I've got a set of Ford centers, I just don't know where they're at!

Do they look like these? If they're the same ones I'll find them and shoot them over to you.

with weight on the wheel or not? doesn't really matter since it'll add about 2 minutes to the entire car

You can do it with weight as long as you make sure the other two are nice and tight before you take them off. Should be fine.
