    turbine sizes?

Long story short, I'm gettin a set of turbines for free. I don't know what exactly they're from but the old guy said they were on a tbird or a Lincoln, as he is a ford man.

How will I know if they're a proper fit for my car without actually trying it on?

if it has a 5 by 4.5 bolt pattern it will most likely fit. may say the bolt pattern somewhere on the wheel. otherwise our turbines are 15 inches 6.5 inches wide.

The lincolns will be the same size 15x6.5 with the same bolt pattern. Should have no problems running them.

Yes they are. What tires you going with? I think White walls (goodyear makes a thin white wall, we have em on our lincoln) would look good. Although they are a pain to keep clean. The goodyears are like $600 for 4 though.

Undecided. I am partial to white letter tires to be honest but whitewalls are cool too.

Yeah I went with white raised letter tires for summer, because they are not a pain to clean, and they look sporty, Just like the whitewalls on factory wheels is all.

There are different Lincoln turbines. All Towncar turbines are 15x6.5" with the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Mark VII LSC turbines are 16x6.5" with 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, but a different offset. 70s Continentals possibly had 5 on 5 bolt pattern, which won't fit a panther.

well, if its got 4 air springs, its a Mark VII or VIII. VIII never had a turbine, and those wheels wont bolt up anyway. Mark VII wheels bolt up, but you need spacers otherwise the tire rubs the upper control arm up front and slices the sidewall through. If its got rear air springs, its a 90+ Towncar, and those are direct fit. "Lincoln or Tbird" would make me think Mark VII. Everyone thinks its a Tbird anyway. Some 80s Tbirds did have a sort of turbine wheel, but I think they had 4 lug wheels.
