    HPP wheels on a box?

Has this been done? With the final go on when i get to order wheels (March!) im gonna need a set of winter wheels, and Im doing the big brake swap this summer, so I need 16 inchers. Its either those, or police wheels with explorer center caps. I would rather go with HPPs, but i dont want it to look like ass.

edit: I just found a pic, what do you guys think?

mine is an earlier model, but you get the idea.

Gabe, Regis and others have them on their car. Regis has an 85 CV so it will be the same as yours. I personally love the way they look and they fit with no problem....just bolt them right up and you are good to go.

I would totally take HPP's over my 2005 Mustang V6 wheels.

yes you can run 16" hpps no problem although you can not but the centers on the front they will not fit. when you do the big brake swap you can put the centers on the front.
you may want to run spacers on the rear to space the rear tires out a little

I loved the way they looked. I don't know if you remember but my old white 88 Mercury had them on there before I wrecked it. They looked good if you took and cleaned them up.

There's a set at my pick n save Ive been thinking about... I'd paint the lacy spokes black and leave the rim polished. I wonder if P71 caps would work on them...
