I've been thinking about replacing the whole axle in my TC, simply because it seems it may be almost the same price, if not cheaper, than doing gears, LSD, and big brakes. What range of years would be a direct bolt-in? Yard near me has almost 20 Panthers, from every body style. No wagons though. I know K-code is what to look for, anything else?

My K-code was $50 + $50 for them to pull it. But, a used axle could be in any shape. My gears were fine by my track lok was 100% dead. I'd try to find the lowest mile one possible.2020 F250 - 7.3 4x4 CCSB STX 3.55's - BAKFlip MX4

most used axles are going to need to be rebuilt......better off rebuilding what you have and installing rear discs, 3.55's and a trac lock rather than trying to find a k code from a 92-97 car which are kinda rare
