Steering parts.
After completing my BBS, Im moving on to my steering. I like the Moog brand. Rockauto has everything I need for a good price. However, I cant find a parts place that carries the center/drag link. Whn they do, Its like $150.00. Whats the deal? It seems that all the parts that wear out, such as: the tie rods and idler arm, bolt up to to the center link. I feel as if the center link has no parts that wear and doesnt need changing as long as I cange all the other worn parts (they are all bad.) Is this correct? OR, do I need to just buyt a center link also. Thanks in advance.

the center link is a non wear item.....the pitman arm is the wear item on the panther, where the gm's the center link was the wear item

What kind of Lincoln wheels? If they're off a Towncar, you're good to go. If they're from a Mark VII, you ought to have spacers to get proper clearances.
Stock backspace for 80s 15" wheels per one of the stickies is 4.25"86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

yeah they're a decent looking wheel. Sadly, a lot of the factory wheels look better than the aftermarkets that fit our cars. Seems we're left with the nascar looking ones, truck wheels, or really tacky bling wheels most of the time, neither of which I think look good, and both of which would look horrible on your car in particular.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
