Eh, looks are a bit deceiving - you can buy a lot bigger house for a lot less money in this neighborhood.... moreso since the housing market crash. My place appraised at $250K in May, and I'd probably have to wait a long time to get that in today's market.

Greg cleaned up one of them to show what it'd look like - I haven't even touched the others at all! Just took it through a car wash. Up close you can see a LITTLE bit of oxidation here and there on the rims, but that's it. I'll pick up some chrome/metal polish sometime, though.

Lower rocker trim - is that the horizontal part below the lowermost chrome trim behind the front wheels (and running along under the door, etc)? If so, that's actually some sort of mud/dirt/whatever that's clinging and has mostly resisted the car wash's efforts - I gotta find something to clean it off without hurting the paint.

Overall, though, I can't believe how much it changes the character of the car over the stock steelies/wire-hubcaps. Heck, those are the same tires I had on the stock setup, and somehow the rims even make the tires look more aggressive!

If you mean the cookie-cutter housing development, yeah, you're not too far off! I tend to call them "vinyl farms" though...

                      US Wheels - "Series 75"

Gives the car a sort of aggressive look, relative to the stock wire hubcaps. Apparently, when I see the reflection of my car in a big rig or shiny enough car next to me, it also makes me slightly more aggressive on the throttle, too!
