i started getting a chattering sound , only moving above 35mph, no vibrations, i took all the hub caps and lock adapters off and its still there. but it not regular at all . it comes and goes . it sounds like valve noise . i do know its not the motor . anyone have any ideas i cant get it up in the air till this weekend !

I recently had very odd on and off, here and there, at different speeds and such sounds. I found out it was because my ujoints were completely shot. One set had no needle bearings left at all. after i replaced them....silence insued.~David~

Did you install them yourself? Did they have zerks and if they did, did you pump grease in?Comment

i found the problem, when my cousin and i replaced the wheel bearings, he didnt relize that the caliper bolts go threw the brake pads and the lower bolt was half way out.sigpicTHE H.I.D MASTER
