picked up some rear coil springs for the vic, need some info about installing

the springs appear to be a variable rate spring, i pulled them off a relatively newer grand marquis, about... 99-2002ish, first and foremost, will all years of CV/GM interchange? or were there any change in the suspention configuration over any years?

also im curious if our cars are a simple pull off the perches and push back onto them install job, (with standard spring compressors of course)

or is there anything else i should be told about? any info for a first timer, please let me know

awesome, this job was easy as heck, the car feels more firm now with the vari rate springs, but didnt fix the sagging ass problem, so im still going to have to find me some wagon rate springs or buy that lifting coil block

I had three spares, three rims, two coils a jack and hubcaps in there, i took them out and didnt change much of the ride hight at all

Wow, thats alot of wieght. Were there any rubber isolators left when you took the old springs out? Those add a little bit of hieght

i have two extra that i kept out, the newer coils had some already on it
