    newer parts back dating

I am wondering if any of the suspension parts from the newer panthers will back date to the older panthers? 98-02 and 03 newer parts work on the box pathers?
    I couldn't find anything with a search.

    Thanks

98-02 fromt brake assemblies will work on a box with supporting mods. Search for big brake conversion, or I believe there is a tech article floating around here somewhere for it. Rear brakes from 98-02 may work, but I'm not 100% on this. Rear axle is different with the rear suspension changes, so it won't swap in. Rear springs work though. Wheels also work fine up to 2002.

03+ has significant front suspension changes. Probably nothing will work directly. Rear has a similar setup to the 98-02, but different axle width to accomodate the funky offset wheel they used up front. rear brakes are a little different too, no idea if these will work on an older model. Possibly not since the offset is different.

I am more looking at the rear suspension. I had an 04 Marauder for a week and it had Addco sway bars and metco control arms it handled like a slot car. I would hook and go. I am wondering if they would back date.

The rear suspension is fine on ours. In fact it's far stronger than the 98+ due to the weak ass frame mounting points on the 98+.
I have driven a Trilogy Marauder with the metco arms and addco bars it didn't handle any better than my wagon. It was also unsettled on rough roads the exact same way my wagon is. I have also driven Blaze's vic and it was even more slotcarish than mine. My wagon rides much better than Blazes. (I've got way softer springs and a lot more wieght on the ass end)

So, in summary.... springs and shocks on a box work wonders!
