My front with springs installed the car jacked up tires off the ground the distance between shock mounts was over 14". If you didnt remove the rubber bumper in the upper control arm or trim it the car might be bouncing on it. Under extream conditions undr compression the car could be riding on the control arm bumper against the frame. tHIS COULD BEND YOUR CONTROL ARM. Under extension it could attempt to over extend the shock. Which would dammage the shock. Keep an eye on the shocks for leaks.
      I picked the Afco's because they were closest to half travel at the 13" distancee between the mounting points.
