All 4 rims are 18x9.5. I put all 4 wheels on today and drove it, and the tires did not rub. I'm happy to finally get those on and they work.

I will take some more pics on monday.

Decent fit! Looks like it might need a slight lowering job now, if only for looks. When do we get pics of the whole car with these crazy things on?

(btw, what vehicle are these off of? I was thinking Mustang, but they look more like Lightning wheels to me)

They are Lighting Rims with used Shelby GT500 front & rear tires.

nice wheels, but i think they would look better in the paointed gray they use. but then again i do not like chrome, so i may be biased

Man, cut half a coil off the front springs, that should lower the front about 1" at the axle, and make it look even sweeter (same front and rear gap between tire and fenderwell arch). How did you bolt the wheels tho, the truck bolt pattern is usally 5x5.5, did you use adapters?

I was curious as well how you got them to bolt up, I thought the bolt parrern was larger for the lightning. They look sweet tho man, Just need to drop the car down now.

Thanks guys. Yes, I had to use spacer/adapter to bolt up the rims and to get the backspacing right. I plan on installing my 3.55 traction-lok rear as soon as I go to the junkyard for 11" drum backing plates and I'm going to swap my rear springs with some from a wagon to bring the rear end up (it has new rear sedan springs & they didn't bring up the rear). After the rear is done I am going to start on the front suspension mods, then the engine. I'm just worried if I drop the front to much the 27" dia. tires will rub.

Overall I'm happy with the fit. The stock rear tires looked to small for the car, now the fenders are filled up. I would have rather had the stock aluminum turbine style rim in the 18x9.5 size, but I could not find anything I liked. I bought all 4 rims new for $498 shipped, so for the price I like them. What sucks is 4 new BFG g-Force tires ($935 shipped) are going to cost more than I paid for my rims and used tires.

Put a torch to the front springs to get a nice rake and that will be cherry.

DO NOT TORCH the springs. it destroys the heat treating which can cause the springs to break, which is bad
