    older panther suspention parts

    today i had the pleasure of changing my lower right side control arm on my 81 merc since it cracked around the ball joint then ripped out as i lost my wheel in the drive way. iv don the left side 2 years ago aswell, just warning people to inspect your suspention parts and dont take em for granted lol, ill get a pic soon.

    1981 Mercury Marquis Brougham 2-Door 302/ 5-speed -special blend (GMGT)
    1987 Lincoln Mark VII 5-speed (Errand runner)
    1989 Mercury Grand Marquis (Base Runner)

    it was all bent up, so i straightend it for a better veiw...so check and make sure your front end and rear end parts in good shape. i was lucky that it dident let go on the road lol

      Harsh! That's exactly one of the reason's why I always give my suspension parts, and entire undercarriage a thorough inspection every 5,000 miles.

        thats what i do now, check and grease and i have undercoating and a paint brush and go over the frame since the engins heat seems to disipate the oil. at least now i have new lower control arms. the right side ball joint was origonal and the car is a 1981 lol
