You can go up to 275 in the rear without rubbing if the wheels fit well. Mine rubbed a little bit with weight in the back.

In the front, I've peeled back a wheel opening molding with just 225's mounted on 15x7 Ansen's.

if you want handling, you'd be better off with a larger diameter wheel and a shorter sidewall especially with tires that wide. You'd also need a rim wide enough to properly install the tire on, otherwise you'll end up with a dinky contact patch and it'll probably be worse. In either case, expect it to be a bit more dicey in the rain, wide tires give you less pressure per square inch on the road, so it will be more likely to hydroplane.

I got the factory Frt/Rear stabilizer bars, and the frt/4-bar link Rr coil spring suspesion. And Nitrogen Gas-pressurized shock absorbers. But it's all factory. But Babyblue handles like a little car

I'm starting to comtemplate 16x8 wheels..but I doubt it will make much difference and plus I would have only 1 choice of white letter tires...good tires, but still...only one kind.

              would 16s be worth it?

Mark VII wheels? Or aftermarket? At that point I'd just go with 17", much more tire selection, and wheels as well.

that's the problem with the "car hobby"..never enough money to get all the mods done..and once some are done, more take their place. lol..it's true.

Bigger wheels will help, but you could get better results for less money in other places. Shocks, springs, sway bars, etc will make a bigger difference for your dollar.

stiffer shocks, bigger springs (wagon springs), wagon front and rear bars, cut the mounting bushings in half and shim up with washers. tires only get you so far, there is still the issue with body roll, which our cars are famous for.

I'll say this, I really-really-really-really like how both my cars drive on my '98 cop wheels. Even in the portly wagon with nearly stock suspension, cornering is pretty much flat and flatter, and I'm amazed how those 225/60 RS-As grip for their size!

sorry for the confusion on the bushings, i cut my sway bar bushings in half and shimmed them up with washers so theres less flex.
