    Body to frame bolt locations...

Anyone have a diagram (link) of where all the body to chassis bolts are located on a wagon?

    That is all.
    Thanks.

    yes

I posted it around here somewhere....Found it..
Came up on the first page of results when I searched "bodymounts"

Amusingly titled "Bodymounts... Pics of the originals, and a diagram"

Guess I should toss it into the FAQ....

GS, you should use some bolts, and some hockey pucks for a body lift

Thanks, Mrltd! Now why didn't I think to search for "bodymounts". Didn't have much luck with "chassis" + "bolts".

GMGT, I am still toying with the idea... I would like to raise the body just enough to gain an bit more tire clearance. I have plenty in the rear, but the front rubs with my new tires if I hit a big bump.
If I do try it, I figure I'll find out what is cheaper. Hockey pucks, or some poly disks from the local rubber/plastics supply in Lexington.

Might be a good opportunity to por15/herculine the floor, and add a few more body mount locations to make the car even more rigid. (old demo derby trick)

Too bad 4x4 would be such a pain to install...

yeah, now way you'd find anything searching for that!

Nobody has posted anything about em until I changed the post in the FAQ after you asked about them!

The ES mounts give a tad more clearance. Mostly due to them not being shot...

i dont know much about the suspesion bushings. i just noticed yesterday, when i was replacing my starter, that almost half of the front bushing under the battery was gone.
                thanks

i wouldnot use hockey pucks. just buy actual body lift blocks, they are cheap most body lifts are like $60-$90 and that includes bolts

Not sure if they'd fit, but with a little modding, just like the boxes they would probably fit.

yeah, i didnt want to mod it. thats ok though. i noticed that the front control arm bushings are quickly becoming poo. figured i change the bushings and struts at the same time; kinda like a front end make over. but the rear will follow soon.

Good luck changing the struts. If you find where they go, let us know

Country Squire body's gotta be close in proportion to an F-150...

AWD Aerostar is a lot more similar up front to a Panther than an F150 is.
